VISIT TO CORDOVA
Cordova is a small town that you can only get to by boat or air. It rains a lot there, but we had some good weather while we were there.

Low lying clouds in front of the mountains.

We found this cool little forest and went for a hike. Everything was covered in moss.

At the end of this trail was this great look out point. A different view of Cordova.

Oh yeah - Haystack trail was the name of this cool hike if you ever want to go:)

Then we took a long drive to the million dollar bridge - it was about 50 miles of driving, most of it on a very bumpy dirt road.

Just over the bridge was Child's Glacier. This glacier was huge and it is one of the most actively calving glaciers in North America. We got to see and hear some pretty big chunks of ice go crashing into the water - no 10 foot waves for us though.

The harbor in Cordova.

The sun came out really bright in the evening so we took a hike up this big mountain with Chris's dad.

Another picture of the harbor.
