Hiking the Trails in Portland: Continued

Part of the fun with each rotation has been experiencing the different sites and sounds of each area. We have had a great time in Maine. It has such character and it is unique in so many ways. It has truely been a cool adventure exploring some of the sites of Maine. We also had an opportunity to go to the cute town of Freeport which holds the headquarters for L.L. Bean and all of the outlet stores.

During the week, we have been working with the Maine/Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency. This month has been a combination of clinic at the Fairfield and Augusta Family Practice Centers as well as inpatient work at Maine General Hospital in Augusta. Everyone has been so nice to us and we have been learning a ton on our rotations. Doing subinternships, they give us our own patients to manage under the supervision of different preceptors. It has been a fun and educational month!
