On the Road Again - Trip to Maine

On Saturday, the roads were plowed and passable. Our first stop was in Sandusky, OH. We spent the night with our friend John Buschman. He just started his first year of his residency in Orthopedic surgery.

John has the coolest house that is literally across the street from the hospital. We had a great time. We went to church and then to dinner at a Japanese Steakhouse and had ice cream at the local creamery! That next morning we were off to our next desitination.

On Sunday, we made it to Albany, NY. This is where I was born. We got to stay with my cousins Vin and Susie and my Great Aunt Ann. Vin and Susie cooked up a great Italian meal.

It was great to see my family. We also got to see my other cousin Vinnie and his girlfriend. They showed us all of there pictures from a recent trip to India. It got us excited about our upcoming trip to India.

We slept like logs ready to hit the road again. We were excited because our route brought us through Seekonk, MA. We left bright and early so that we could stop by to see Barb's Mom and have homemade french toast. The perfect meal to get us the rest of the way to Maine. It was great to see her!

Hey Barb and Chris-
Thanks for posting pictures of my hometown area of Sandusky, Ohio (I grew up less than 20 min from there)! Did you have your ice cream at Tofts? Glad to see your trip is going well. Take care!
